>>pre determined exit points in your YHOO, AOL positions?

No. I have an account-value hedge point, but I am trying to keep these Yahoo, AOL, and Amazon positions.

The first time I sold AOL was March, 1994. I remember that AMER (AOL then) corrected from near 95 to 62 or so that spring during that vicious correction, about 35%. I ended not buying it back that year, as traders are prone not to do because we get caught up chasing something else. I just looked on the chart, and on a split-adjusted basis, that was 5.29 to 3.47.

Great comment, thanks. Really hit home.
