Jonathan,

IBIS started out trying to be a supplier of SIMOX wafers. What they have found up to now is some demand for their equipment and limited demand for wafers. IBM and Mitsubishi have been announced purchasers of the equipment up to now and if MEMC had an IBIS implanter it would have shown up on IBIS' books.

That was the same response I got from them. It appears they are doing SOI R&D, but the market looks to remain small for some time.
