Yes, I agree. There have been some reports stating that the FED's are printing additional paper money for this expected hoarding of money.

The big question remains if it is the wisest thing to do... might be better to buy some gold coins also... in a hyper-inflation scenario around 1/1/2000, having only paper money is not the smartest thing to do. Elder Germans can testify to that... In a deflation scenario OTOH, 'cash is king'. There has been an interesting discussion about this at yourdon.com; but I don't remember exactly where.

I will take action, probably autumn/winter this year.
