The office of mis-information: CNBC

Did anyone catch the piece (a little after 4:00 PM) by Renee San Miguel, in which he commented that Compaq's inventory's had gone down from 6 weeks to TWO WEEKS! C'mon Renee, you should know better than that....You are the technology "expert" at CNBC....Pretty big slip-up.....Can't forgive that one.....

Is it any wonder that Dell's stock price acts lethargic on a day that they announce price cuts? Or that, with every meeting with analysts Meredith continues to have to hammer home the relationship between Dell's price cuts and component price cuts...Many, many people (including analysts) apparently don't get some of the (pretty clear) points that we have been discussing on this thread for a long time....This confusion is compounded by the (sometimes) faulty reporting by the media services.....

Good thing that all this (created) confusion just creates buying opportunities (for those who are wise) for depressed stocks <g> like Dell....The truth will be known again soon...
