I've learned that no, the first franchise location is not up yet on Okeechobee Blvd. It is expected to arrive from the factory and be put up at the local Pepsi bottling plant until some local zoning regulations be addressed. However, others are scheduled to go in in S. Florida soon. Setting it up in Florida will allow potential franchisees to see it and sign up. They say the cart business--the Pizza PLace for a convenience store--is going to take off at a greater rate. Siegmister is promoting them to 8,000 accounts in the Northeast. See the press release... Pizza is a huge business ($34 billion?), and this new angle (2.5 minute pizza) sounds great to me. The stock needs more support by the market makers, however. It doesn't take much action to push the price around.
