A Parham, rumor on the street is that Rexall will beat 3rd qtr earnings, but not by much. Also, another rumor is that the company is in jeopardy of losing the Walmart deal. The only reason I share these rumors is that I have a large stake in this company and I am now trying to do a little short term trading in the stock to have a hedge if these are true. I have bought calls when the price was lower and sold them today and made a tidy little profit. I have sold some covered calls and if the stock drifts down, I will buy them back and take the profits. The reason I am doing this is that if the earnings are slightly better than the 3rd qtr, the market may dump the stock. I am worried that we did so well the 3rd qtr that it will be hard to duplicate. If RXSD loses the Walmart deal, I think the company is still on their way to 1 billion but the market will dump them again. Either of these possibilities could give us a share price of $10 - 20 . That is what I am a little worried about. If the market embraces RXSD and the price rises back up to the low 30's then I think we will be OK. At these prices, I worry because there are no secrets on Wall Street. What do they know that we don't know? A LOT...doc
