I'll have to checkout the MPEG. My big concern with regard to sales is with performance issues and lockups with the Unreal engine. I've had problems with Unreal. I'm using a P266 MMX, 64mg SDram,Voodoo 1 3D, & a Matrox Millenium 8mg, and I still have lockups if I pause the game. They were greatly reduced by increasing the cache, but they still occur. Question is this, are all gamers going to buy P2-333 systems with voodoo2 so they can run the game? Just for the processor, mainboard, and card your talkin' $700. The beauty of DN3D was it could be run on average systems without major graphics degradation. The above issue plus multiplayer issues have hurt Unreal sales. Hardware prices need to come down before this engine's performance requirements become more average. Lastly when are publishers going to learn that everyone loses by jamming all their titles at gamers in the 4Q? I can think of 5 or 6 must haves' but I'm not likely to drop $200+ to get them all.
Cheers
Bill
