Dear Urlman, Speed, reliability & 'x' megs of free space are not 'entry barriers'. They are, at best, temporary advantages -- easy to replicate by competition. Have you checked out the 'reach' trends at mediametrix.com for 'rate of change', an important leading indicator. Best, Francis P.S. #1 'fly by night'? Three of the four I mentioned are in the top 25 sites, hardly 'fly by night'. P.S. #2 I just read your next message -- post [107]. Here's the problem with this discussion: you correctly identified yourself as a GeoCities homesteader -- and a very loyal one at that. So all your comments are filtered through the "I'm a current GeoCities fan and..." making a rational discussion rather difficult if not impossible. Thanks for the input and feedback, however.
