Elmer, as usual, the government imposes confiscatory taxes, as the horrendous property taxes in Wisconsin from 1975 to 1995, and impossible red tape and regulation for the small farmer to endure, and then offers a subsidy to gain control. Time to get rid of government involvement/interference. The results of government "parity" programs in milk production for example led to the development of a huge dairy agribusiness in California. I guess Kirk will have to drink more milk instead of water. =) --Al
