According to the press reports, Lewinsky has testified that she did have several encounters with Bubba in a room near the Oval Office and while he did not directly tell her to lie, they did discuss ways to conceal their "relationship". Leaving aside my feeling that discussing ways to conceal the truth is a functional equivalent to suborning perjury, Mr. Clinton is a lawyer and an officer of the Court. Not only did he lie under oath in that proceeding, he KNOWINGLY allowed another witness to file a false affidavit under oath in a judicial proceeding. Even in Arkansas, this must be a violation of the ethical canons and disciplinary rules which govern a lawyer's conduct. There should be a professional conduct referral for both Mr. Clinton and his lawyers in this matter. He should lose his license to practice law and be disbarred. JLA

Jill,

Did you happen to see Tim Russert on cnbc reporting that Clinton's people needed to know Monica's testimony so they could "calibrate" the President's testimony?......makes you swell with pride knowing that we have people that "sharp" running the country..........puke...

And, yes keep them in jail....we had a state policeman killed by a ex-con with a rap sheet longer than his leg and a conviction of manslaughter within two years of this particular murder....this "man" should have still been in jail...along with who ever was responsible for letting him out..
