Gosh, Jhild, I had to read that twice. Really-and I thought I asked this simple question and you go all complex on me. I was cleverly going to use your answers to prove to Bill, our new guest, how sexist you all were, despite his idealistic belief that we're all equals here at SI. Which is why I invited him here---because he and I were disagreeing about this elsewhere. This would have worked better if I'd asked it of a normal group of men. I should have known I'd get answers like Betty Rubble, Cat Woman, Blondie, Lois Lane. Well-I can use that-I'm creative, if not often right. Ahem-- Obviously some of you see women as mere cartoon characters. We have no reality--you have caricaturized us---sex objects, malleable, soft, mindless, submissive or ditzily sexy and assertive. How come no one's leaped up admitting they've always desired Bella Abzug? Janet Reno? Sarah Caldwell? Madame Curie? Chauvinist pigs, all of you. Better not let Rambi see your answers.
