I thought you were done posting...

>>Hi Jim and everyone -- I'm outta here, and wish you all the best in finding the truth behind TRBD and any other stocks you play.<<

Message 5431839

It would appear that you have trouble sticking to your word...just as your hero Manny Asensio has trouble telling the truth.

Let's get to the essence of the issue...and it's not Nowek.

Manny claimed Turbodyne has no patents.
biz.yahoo.com

Reality: It has six with nineteen more pending.
easdaq.be

Manny claimed the company has no valuable technology...that it's "merely a supercharger driven by an electric motor instead of a belt".
biz.yahoo.com

Reality: It's a demand-responsive turbocharger using sensors and an electronic control module driving an electric motor to supply boost to the air intake based on what the engine requires rather than engine speed as is a belt-driven supercharger or, to a lesser extent, a standard turbocharger.

By your hero Manny's reasoning, we would conclude that the automobile represents no valuable technology since it "merely" replaces the horse with an internal combustion motor as the motive force.

ROTFL,
Gerry

p.s. Many fools concluded precisely that when the automobile was invented...went in big for buggy whip factories at bargain prices.

Adrienne - Thanks for your reality checks.

As soon as I saw Arsensio's name, alarm bells starting ringing so my husband took his profits and exited out of Turbodyne. When I saw Adrian du Plessis' name, I had my son get the heck out of Turbodyne too.

I suggest all you Turbodyne threaders go and re-read Adrian's postings very carefully.

You may not like what he has to say but he's not usually wrong on his character assessments.

Adrian du Plessis:

To be perfectly clear, so there is no misunderstanding,
has Leon Edward Nowek EVER---

1.Been accused by Canadian or US financial securities
authorities of a crime? Please provide a specific
URL, or cut and then paste your documentation here,
or give specific newspaper article dates with
page numbers to authenticate your claims.

2.Been arrested by Canadian or US financial
securities authorities for a crime? Please provide
a specific URL, or cut and then paste your
documentation here, or give specific newspaper
article dates with page numbers to authenticate
your claims.

3.Been convicted by Canadian or US financial
securities authorities of a crime? Please provide
a specific URL, or cut and then paste your
documentation here, or give specific newspaper
article dates with page numbers to authenticate
your claims.

Are you now accusing Leon Edward Nowek of defrauding
Turbodyne shareholders or committing financial crimes
through his official position at Turbodyne? If so,
please be very specific and clear in what you say,
so that it can be verified and then prosecuted!
Being mindful that libel and or slander on your part
is also punishable.

CT

PS. I plan on e-mailing your response to Turbodyne,
as well as your other previous postings on this
thread.

Re: anti-TRBD posts

1. Mr du Plessis makes a misleading case against TRBD. Mr du Plessis' case can be summarized as
a. He is a `good samaritan' simply pointing out the faults of TRBD. ANSWER: No way. Don't believe it a second. This is a favorite ploy of shorts. They do this to sound more believable. For this reason these types are misleading and less believable.
b. He has found out some things he doesn't like about Mr Nowek. ANSWER: These may or may not be true, and in any case, you can bet he imparted his own spin to them much as Mr Arsencio did. He may be able to find out some bad stuff about me too. Is Mr. Nowek a crook? (I doubt it). How has he done in his duties for this company?
c. Because Mr du Plessis doesn't like Mr Nowek, one should fear investing in TRBD. This is a debate method called `argumentum ad hominum'. If you can't make your case on the issue, attack the man. In other words, Mr du Plessis has no better case against TRBD. This should be REASSURING to longs.
2. TRBD has undertaken dilutive financing. ANSWER: This is how startups raise money before they have sales. That's how it is done. The real question is how much did they need vs how much they got. Were they crooks, or just poor? I see no evidence they were crooks. In retrospect, some things may have been done better, but 20/20 hindsight is quite easy.
3. TRBD has been predicting sales for some time. ANSWER: Is this intended to mislead or simply an optimistic timeline? All the potential purchasers are still testing and considering the product, or have actually bought it. I appreciate a company that keeps me informed even if they are a bit optimistic on their time frames.

In summary, I'm not impressed with these arguments - see my next post

Regards, Dave

Adrian, re. Vice-Chairman Novek, I checked the companies you listed where he is/was a director.

I found quotes for five of them. The stock prices range from zero to $0.23.

You can see them all, in their ugly splendor, by clicking the following link:

quote.yahoo.com

the first of these, Arimex Mining, is the subject of the next post.

sleaze factor: TRBD's vice chairman/CFO, Leon Nowek, is a director of Arimex mining (AMX.V)...

... or at least he was as of a year ago (my most recent info). This service overlaps with his tenure at TRBD, which began in 1993.

Arimex is a dreadful Vancouver-listed gold mining stock.
chart here: quote.yahoo.com

The co. was formerly known as Westwin.

Here is a link to an 'analyst' story written Sept. 97, when the stock was at $0.40. It has dropped 90% since then.

stockhouse.com

The 'analyst' for this story, who refers to the 'immense untapped wealth' of gold & silver mines, gives a disclosure at the bottom of the article that he receives a fee for his services.

So one might assume that this is yet another company-paid 'analyst' article.

You will find Mr. Nowek's name listed near the bottom of the article, as a company director.
