linda, i was treated poorly by e-trade. clearly, some at web street don't understand how to treat their customers. i'm much less than impressed with the vp's response. even if you did jump down their throat they should have handled the situation professionally. even if you had a bad attitude it does not mitigate their incompetence nor their responsibility to accept responsibility. it is clear that they still have not accepted responsibility. they probably never will from the looks of it. the proper response would be to apologize for creating a situation that leads to upset customers instead of blaming the customer for their own problems. good luck. waterhouse securities has treated me well. and they are ranked well ahead of web street! :-)
