Well, Thomas, thank you for a really depressing and demoralizing post. No wonder people get on line and lie like hell. You know, my father died at 61---my mother was 59. I said, "Will you marry again? Will you date?" and she looked at me as if I were completely insane. "Why would I go through that again?" she said. She and a bunch of widows got together and traveled and had a wonderful time. When one of them got a boyfriend, the others were appalled. They didn't understand it at all. It's a sad commentary of marriages of the last generation. Do you think ours will say the same?
