S.W., I posted the link of 'motherboard express' to point out that even dealers are selling overclocked celerons. My conclusion from this that it must be quite easy & reliable to overclock a celeron. I dont have any experience with their service.
I'm still not finished with my 'overclocking project' and my system setup. The past few weeks i had to tackle a lot of probs, some are solved others ar not, some examples are:
1. how to change the core voltage on a p2b mobo
2. find out the proper core voltage $ frequency for my celeron to run stable
3. finding a 'low noise fan'
4. monitoring the temperature in my tower at various places: power supply , cpu , disks
5. how to find a proper ntc for my p2b mobo (there is a monitoring chip on the mobo which requires a special ntc)
6. reducing the noise level (i have now 3 computers running)
7. Win98 or Win Nt 4.0?

Well the last point is quite difficult. Neither NT nor win98 are perfect. There are several things i really like in Win98:
- the device manager
- fast boot time & ultra fast shut down
- intelli mouse support and IE (the smooth scrolling is fantastic)
- installation of hardware is very easy
- FAT 32
- Intel Application Launch Accelerator

Until a few days ago I used Win98beta3 and Win Nt4.0. Last weekend I switched to the final Win98 release on all of my 3 computers. BTW, I had no probs with my Matrox drivers. I was quite disappointed to see, that my small utility I have written in Javascript doesnt work any more under Win98final. This utility opens 10 browser windows and adjusts size and position of all windows automatically. If everything works right, my trading environment is setup with one click..thats really nice. But under Win98 the browser windows only pop up on the primary screen. This seems a bit strange to me since I thought i tested my utility under win98beta3 and it worked properly and even opened windows on the secondary screen. Its a bit strange, all my netscape windows never open on the the secondary screen. I've found an article at microsoft (an earay one) where the author states that Win98 tries to open the application window on that very screen where the shortcut icon is but this is definitely not the case. Not for the Communicator, not for IE and not for any other application i've used so far. This quite annoying. BTW its not a driver problem.
Anyway, i liked the 'windows behaviour' (in a multi monitor setup) of Win Nt4.0-Matrox more. Most important for me now is, how can i open my broser windows at a predetermined position, if i cant solve this problem under Win98 i'll switch back to NT4.0.
Last point, stability was never an argument for me..and i think this argument doesnt hold anymore. AFAIK, NT lost its perfect stability when Microsoft switched from NT 3.51 to 4.0
