LOD, any thoughts on this idea of mine? A letter to Dell: I am a shareholder in Dell Computer. I saw a news story about IBM cancelling sponsorship of the Olympic Games. I know Dell is trying to promote the Dell brand name. The Olympics would give worldwide visibility to Dell computer and Dell could use the sponsorship for years leading into the Olympics. I don't know if it makes any finacial sense to consider this but I think it should be investigated. Thanks, Patrick McDaniel

I couldn't care where you post or what you post. However, the responses you were getting were good for a laugh or two. I made a bet with robbie that you would break the 2000 message mark by 3:00. Unfortunetly, it took you a tad longer than I anticipated. Anyways, post what you want. Of course the "Dump CPQ and Buy DELL...Go DELL!" bit that you wrote in about 30 posts today isn't going to cut it on the Compaq thread. However, I'm quite sure that several people on the Compaq thread were just playing with you to see what would come out next. What of course started all this was your "macho" attitude on how much $$$ money you made on DELL these past two years, and i how you pitied all us Compaq sinners. Just drop the macho BS and the discussion on this thread would dramatically improve.
