Sorry, but I'm a bit confused by this reply. Just what are you saying is the mechanical trigger? Isn't it when the MACD histogram turns upward (i.e., slope positive). I don't see any MA on the lower chart in question (SEEK). The key on the chart shows the MACD to be a solid green line (is this incorrect?). And, what're the red bars...if not the MACD histogram?

What's the difference between 12-25-9 and 8-17-9? Why use one versus the other?
