To All/Anybody

<it sounds as if "water" will become a precious commodity because how much will be needed to put out all the fires..<

A great line!!! Yes indeed because that might not be the only thing it is needed for with the upcoming Y2K problem.

I am currently looking to get out of suburbia and out into a more rural setting -- (home with some land and a water well), whereby my family and I can be somewhat more self sufficient. Me thinks this society has become to reliant, and soft, as a result of the evolution of modern technology. (hermit at heart)

Hopefully this problem (Y2K) will be realized and corrected early enough and none none of the measures I am taking are required -- for the sake of society as a whole. If some of prognostications come true however, the riots in Indonesia will be mild by comparison. Stock up on food stuffs, gold/silver coins, and something to protect them with. If it doesn't come about what have you lost?

Just the ravings and rambling of someone that is aghast at the moral fiber of today's decadent and subservient populace.

PS Prospecting may not be a bad way of life if that elusive yellow stuff reaches the prices people on these boards are claiming.
