Mr.Z..

Perhaps you and I are not that far off in our opinions. I hope this is a buying opportunity and the stock runs next week.

Your previous post gave the impression that you felt a purchase was imminent. If a purchase were to ever occur in the future, of course mo players would leave. Dell is doing just fine.

No, I dont sit on the board. Do you?! A 3:1 isnt in the cards. In fact, remember this post #. Come back and ridicule me if the split is larger than 2:1. I wont be eating crow Aug 18th.

Hey Zalesky! If it ain't broke don't fix it!

Dell is eating everybody's lunch because of their unique business model. When CPQ went in-house with DEC and fired the firms who provided service they made Dell a lot of friends. Which company would you recommend to the customers you have been servicing, the outfit that fired you?

Arab expression: The enemy of my enemy is my friend!

Ongoing service creates relationships and savvy beneficial to both parties. Large customers avoid unnecessary changes. Dell's service contractors are a big sales force on it's staff but not on the payroll. Their job is to make Dell look good, and they profit from it.

I trust Michael to solve the problems of the future with the alacrity he has applied to the problems of the past.

CPQ wants to be IBM. Check their charts against Dell.
