Re -- I have the K6-2 cost around $30-$35 and the Celeron "A" at about $55, + or - $5. Meanwhile, who needs a Pentium II?

How about them yields. You think they are going well?

Consider this, if the K6-2 costs $30-$35 and are sold to IBM at less than cost, what will the ASP for AMD be. Better hope IBM doesn't sell too many of these, it will cause AMD to lose even more and the creditors will auction off parts of AMD and the stock price will go to $2.

Jim:

Intel DieHarders believe that the Celeron-A is cheaper to make than Celeron. They think that the bigger the die the cheaper it is to make.
