John, excellent post on the confusion, mismanagement and now despair that reigns at HP. Any reporter willing to look beneath the surface will find that the PC segment at HP is in deep trouble. Let's not forget that CFO Wayman openly admitted in Business Week last month that members of the HP board were questioning the viability of this segment. All the crap HP has fed the press in the past two yrs about its growing market share has worked only to a point to quell investor concerns about the losses. Now it's crunch time. HP lost $50mm last qtr on PCs and there appears to be no light at the end of the tunnel.

Will HP be the first to fall?
