ADPT article appearing in this week's Barrons.
Several interesting comments that might affect LSI ? First, a passing comment was made that perhaps SCSI technology would be replaced by another tech. An analyst was surmising that if ADPT didn't get back on track in short order that ADPT might very well be acquired by INTC
or National Semi. Some comments have been made on this thread that INTC is using Symbios's SCSI technology. If INTC did purchase
ADPT, would that be bad news for LSI's Symbios in that INTC might
develop competitive SCSI products ? Comments please.

Everyone:
In reading LSI's 10-Q for the period ending June 30, 1998 it is my
understanding that LSI did not purchase any stock in the market place
during the first six months of 1998. If I am correct that LSI did not purchase any stock then I hope LSI was intent on
accumulating cash in hopes of making an important acquisition. If LSI
did not buyback stock in the market place because they did not feel it was an outstanding investment in the low 20's then I am in trouble with my very long position in LSI.
