Wow, what a nice surprise, getting up to see the Newsletter in my email, and 300+ new posts! Like the old days. I assume most were discussions of the news release/letter. Would someone be kind of enough to summarize the overall feelings on this for me so I don't have to read everything? Much thanks.

Macker: given this new technology, for every big telco trying to "kill" consumers there will be a Jimmy Chin giving consumers a chance at a fair deal.

In the USA you must be paying 1/8 of what we have to pay to use a telephone. This makes the likes of "Telefonica" very rich and gets many of us into an intense hate mode against these Co.s'.

Re Deutsche Telekom. I was wrong the other day, they do not have 100,000 to 150,000 employees, they have 191,000 employees, opps.
They have long term debt worth aprox. 160,000 million DM's and physical assets worth aprox. 160,000 million DM's. Deutche telekom (or Die Post as it was before) was the cash cow of Siemmens and Siemmens stuffed them with "old" tech for too long. Siemmens also belongs to my "list" (as Telefonica does).
