Well, I wasn't referring to SI as a ghost town, but jokingly referred to the possibility. I'm surprised they're charging that much, frankly, but the current owners paid (as I recall) about $32 million for this site - not bad for a garage startup operation! Guess they want to make all their money back in one year. The fees are pretty expensive. Look on the bright side; the free boards have an awful lot of absolute nonsense to wade through. I'll try to post only high-quality gibberish, so it's worth your subscription payment. ;-)
