Well if you philosophy holds true it will cause on big collapse far beyond market. Can you imagine the all of the mutual funds in utter havock at once. The only thing that makes me question this is option is now elsewhere so is not exactly like 29 because of telecommunications and liquidity and governments inter tied. Alex or anyone if you happened to read me are commodities world base price is there such a thing as a world market? Or is this only competitive nation to nation basis. We are going to have much problems selling our agriculture dollar wise if it is only nation to nation. What is done with the surplus that is grown? Is there a certain time frame that grains can be held in storage?

G.T. Thanks for the kind(let us hope insightful) words. The problem here is no one understands what they are paying for when they dump their money into index or aggressive growth funds every pay day. If a person is paying for a fund whose average P/E is say 65 (easy to believe with all the internet stocks and virtual earnings) and something were to happen - We could be in very bad shape - as a nation!! OK, that average P/E of even 40(and we know this is mild) added to a current age of 60 or even 50 could have some very ugly side effects! Do you want to be worked on by a 95 year old Doctor who has to work because he was crushed in the depression of 1998 through 2009? Do we all like the idea of 75 year old police walking a beat in a walker? How about 105 year old pilots? I am not about to say our older Americans have lost the ability to do any of these jobs. I value the experience of age more than many. I just don't want any tired bitter old people having to work. If they want to - Great!!! They have a lot to offer! I just know how hard is was on my grand-father. rh I just hate the idea of all these people being lied to!
