Quite a number of company reps post, a small percentage of whom are recorded here;
207.183.153.73

Seems to me that guidelines for them doing so would be quite simple;

1. Identify themselves clearly.
2. Have a thick skin. There will be crap. Just let it slide off.
3. Stick to the facts - i.e. do not under any conditions hand out investment advice. No need to comment on the past, present, or future stock price.
4. Know how your securities commission feels about it.
5. Just stay real - you're a human being talking to other human beings.
5a. (corollary) If you can't discuss or explain something, just say so, and say why not.

I dimly recall hearing that Pat O'Brien of nve got called by the VSE for being a little promotional. Not sure of that though. Dave Webb on the Mongolia thread (mgr) is the best example I know of. Also Jason on the Alpine (asl) thread.

It can be done, and done well. Far superior to blustering feeble threats, imho.

Cheers, all .... hasta luego ........... marcos
