I was surprised to learn that despite all the hype having to do with the "i" in iMac, it doesn't make it any easier to get on the net then any other currently shipping Mac(already easy). Just the SJ marketing machine at work I guess.

It's about time. As we learned from Microsoft (the hard way) - it's all in the marketing!

It's actually a lot easier, much of it do to the selection of a preferred ISP (Earthlink). There are other reasons as well.

I do agree, though, that Cupertino marketing has gotten better.
