rudedog, Thanks for that input about the enterprise hw space. I must admit I dont know much about it. I do know that NT boxes from the PC boxmakers are displacing the old unix boxes for database servers where I am consulting. Guess Im spending too much time reading LoD's post and somehow its causing a researgence of my prior experiences as a high school cheerleader! How do you think the actual hardware offerings from Dell stack up to Compaq in the enterprise arena? You do agree that NT servers are displacing unix rapidly dont you? And we havent even seen Sql server yet, which is going to really shake up the dbms vendors, I am sure about that. Michelle
