Advanced DirecTV boxes may use C-Cube, because of greater features/ lower cost, but that is just a guess.>>

I THINK the STB's would be a bounus at this point.
Even a token few high end deals (dvd pop in option?)would be huge...most of the boxes I've seen are almost Identical guts to the RCA ones. I hear most people that have the Sony one like it as well. My old old RCA one is still cranking but boy does it get HOT..its on at least 18 hours a day on averge and yes my fire insurance is paid.<GG>
