When the economy tanks, EDS prospects improve- Hot dog! The market is really correcting. This is good news for EDS in my opinion. CEOs recognize the importance of IT and the competitive heat resulting from economic downturns force bet your job decisions regarding hiring the best to beat the competition. Business Process Reengineering, Enterprize Resource Planning, and a half dozen other buzzwords are making CEOs realize that inhouse expertise is not up to the task. Business should walk in the door for IBM and EDS in particular. Good business - long term engagements - strategic engagements with good incentives. Boy, I hope I am right on this one.
