You do not ramble - I think you express the feeling most of us have - There is some smoke - now lets see if it is a fire - or just coming from glowing soles of shoes <G>.

I doubt it was investing!!!

MM's are positioning themselves for the daytraders. A pattern seems to be developing with LTGL. MM's position themselves right before a news release or the arrival of some daytraders. Having positioned themselves in advance, they are able to keep the price down thus frustrating the daytraders who are looking to make a quick $. This results in a further drop in price once the daytraders bail out. Kind of like a domino effect.

Investors that are long on a company usually notice these games and take advantage of the situation by further enhancing their position. They sell half their holdings right before the daytraders come in, and wait until they bail in order to buy their original holding for a fraction of the sale price thus increasing their position by X%.

One can also allege that the company is selling shares to the MM's. If this is the case, MM's are laughing their way to the bank. They keep on shorting the stock, knowing very well that the company will eventually sell them large number of shares for a fraction of the shorted price.

Just hope the first theory is the theory that best reflects reality.
