Heavenly Father

I join with my brother gregor in asking for Your comfort for the families of those killed in Kenya and Tanzania. We ask Your forgivness for the way we treat each other, and Your world. You give us so much, and we are so selfish, ungrateful and wastefull of those gifts.

Thank-you for the young ones you allowed us to enjoy till their recent deaths. We know they are with You, and yet we ache so for them. You know our sorrow Lord--be with their families and remind them constantly of the truth that their loved ones are very alive, happy, and waiting now for other members of their families to join them as they share a love--Your love, that we know we too will share--soon.

We know You also gave Your Son--willingly, and for us. Our belief in that is unshakeable Lord, yet in our human limitations we don't fully grasp the immensity of Your gift. Maybe in our times of sorrow, we get a peek at what it means.

Anyway, we love You! And thank You! And look forward to being with those loved ones who are now with You--and to join them in their constant state of love for You. Help each of us to show our unsaved family and friends what You mean to us so that they too, will want You as their Lord and Savior. And give us strength as we go about our daily tasks. Help us to love each other and to let those around us know Your love thru our lives.

And as always, thank You for gramma, our young ones, and their young ones. Help each to grow in love for You. And understanding of Your love for them.

I ask in Your name, Amen
