Santiago,

Based on historical accounts taken from Foxes book of martyrs

James- The first of the apostles to be martyred. -Jerusalem

Philip - Preached supposedly in the territory of Scythia, not certain how he died

Matthew - Settled churches and ordained preachers in Ethiopia. martyred in Parthia

James (the less) elected bishop of Jerusalem, martyred in Jerusalem

Matthias (replaced Judas) martyred in Jerusalem

Andrew preached to many Asiatic nations. martyred Patrae Greece

Peter preached mainly in Judea, martyred in Rome

Paul wrote most of the epistles in the New Testament, martyred in Rome

Thaddaeus martyred in Persia

Bartholomew translated Matthews gospel into the language of heathen nations martyred by idolaters location unknown

Thomas preached in Parthia and India place of martyrdom unknown

Simon preached in Africa, martyred in Britain

John founded many churches in Greece died a natural death in Ephesus

The seven churches mentioned in Revelations were establised because the apostles obeyed the holy Spirit by going out and evangelizing. Many bibles have a map and you can see that they were located far from Jerusalem.
