DenverTechie & Thread,
I finally found a small note I wrote to myself. I picked this up off the TLAB thread. I guess it caused me enough concern for me to jot it down to look up details later. Only problem is I can't find any more details? Here's what I scribbled down,

"Ascend's AON product may make Tellabs' digital cross connect products obsolete."

I jotted it down in response to this comment by JMD,

"I was thinking of the analysts meeting 2 quarters ago when Michael Birck sharply disputed an analyst whose question implied that the all optical network was going to crater digital cross connects and TLAB."

Does anyone have any opinions or knowledge of "AON?"
Thanks,
MikeM(From Florida)

"Market sure is worried about something concerning TLAB. I'm not sure it's related just to the CIEN/AT&T deal about DWDM equipment delays."

Thread,
Looks like there were insiders that knew something was wrong in advance of all the little guys. Kind of frustrating to individual investors. I believe since CIEN warned this morning, that TLAB is going to open down in the double digits! Somewhere around -10. I think that's what I just heard. So it's drifted off in the last 30 days, and today it's going to get hammered.

Sounds like it may be a good time to buy, but then the market is so volatile. Tough decision. But thanks to everyone for explaining that the TITAN digital cross connects are still in demand.
