We just don't want to put a curse on this upward trend by shouting too loud. The stock price is reflecting the much awaited news.

When the market goes south on international impact - then selling is (or should be*) on those companies which gets impact from international business - The money coming out of that have to be reinvested - BB's will probably not get much - But S&P's that are only dependant on local economy will soar at the end of the day.
Of course the opposite when US economy is going south.

*) Of course there's a number of "investors" that, in panic, run away from everything - Their loss.

<<<<As the major market dips and churns, perhaps investors will turn to the BB stocks for a better return in the short term.>>>>

I love this logic. "If the stock market crashes, BB stocks will go up."

Huh?

If the solid stocks go down, people will run to the "safety" of non-reporting BB issues? Sure. If anyone can show me an example of a big market decline followed by a rise in OTC stocks, I'd love to see it.

If people dump Dow stocks, they will dump BB stocks twice as fast. Get ready for it.
