Two thoughts about Speedway Junky: 1) Stock car racing is HUGE-- if this movie touches the population of rabid fans that follow the sport it will make some money. 2) Jonathan Taylor Thomas, while maybe not as solid in film as Mr. Getty is a "name" due to his notoriety from Home Improvement. If he pulls the role off-- (critics like him) then this becomes his "dramatic debut" and has some clout that will carry it in to video. I may buy more at .11. I got a good feeling about this one-- it would be nice if it made $$ and earned back some of the money I quite unintelligently lost due to the bad advice of a certain large canine who creeps through these boards (no names).
