Look, gang, bottomline is that MTEI will trade again. It might be tomorrow, Thurs., next week, or next month...but mark my words, MTEI will ride again. JS and the the other nays wouldn't be hanging around unless there was this possibility. They are either shorts or paid by the shorts. People are on this thread to make money...one way or another. Since the stock has already been halted, what is the point to keep bashing it? Think about it...

There were many facets to the SEXI scam as there are to most pump and dump operations. There was misleading PR, unregistered shares were issued to "consultants" , SGA Goldstar and others were given shares in exchange for pumping, Hutto the CEO issued shares to many of his relatives so they would not show up, etc etc... It was a pump and dump pure and simple, what was done there was probably not an exception but the rule in the BB's. It is probable that you don't know the full extent of the MTEI caper.

Surely SEXI is not at all the same, but Out right fraud, hardly comparable to a squabble over "estimated" land values as we appear to have here, with MTEI.

If the management here knows or should have known that the value of the properties that they have are not as stated in the release then I would disagree with your assessment of there not having been out right fraud. What if it turns out that they only were purchased for a couple of million or less in 1994? What if it turns out that there is only 150M in minerals there but it will cost 200M to extract it. What will you say then?

I would offer the definition of fraud at this point. Whether or not it is the basis of legal fraud, I will leave to others.

Main Entry: fraud
Pronunciation: 'frod
