"Corporate realtors on the West coast of Canada making major sales of whole islands and real estate on the larger Gulf Islands to Indonesians and wealthy people from Hong Kong and Taiwan" Arnold, As you know we vacationed in B.C.(a month ago). We met a realtor who said the Asian's were liquidating all their properties. Not buying. I'm just wondering if you meant to say, "for" instead of, "to" above. .....Oh, I see what you are saying. You are saying the truly wealthy Asians are purchasing the ultimate, "safe havens." Purchasing their own island. Thanks, MikeM(From Florida)
