I just stopped by the Westech job fair in Santa Clara, and Adaptec had a signifant presence. They were definitely hiring people of all sorts of different disciplines(sp?), and they had a steady flow of people coming to their desk. Generally speaking, in my experience, when a company's hiring, not all is bad, and there still is hope.

It was fun to give them a hard time about the "Stock Analyst" position they were trying to fill... :-))
