Paul Engel, Xeon/PPro questions
According to Lehman Bros., Intel shipped $1.004Billion PPro in Q2'97 and $0.22Billion in Q2'98.
Based on pricing, this represents between 1 and 2 million PPro units for the Q2'97 quarter, and 200 - 400K units for Q2'98.
(Don't know the product mix. Price ranges consistently from $410 to $1050 for both periods).
Do you think this drop in Q2'98 was due to the anticipated conversion to Xeon?
When do you think Intel will hit $1Billion/Qtr for Xeon? Any idea of the mix/prices going forward?

Jim, thanks for the comparative analysis, Intel vs. NASDAQ, etc. I'm not selling either, although I doubt you'd think I was.
