Islander, Thanks for the helpful response. I do agree with you that a split at this time would be a non-event, given the turmoil/volatility that we have now. MSD is very savvy to this market as well. May I ask if you use a level II Nasdaq software to daytrade, or do you just use Schwab? I cannot handle the day to day trip to Bellevue to daytrade. Need to do it remote from home. My broker DLJ doesn't really lend itself to very short term trading, Will look into an ISDN line, as we don't get cable. Day trading is looking preferable at this point. Thanks in advance. Cricket
