In my opinion, todays report is a non-event. Everything was known before, no new information. With current outlook, the market prices AMAT between 30-37. With the smallest hint of news that things are improving, AMAT will move up and by the time good news come out it is ready for another split.

Thanks, Brian. Yes, with 1.6B in cash and short term vehicles it seems they are better prepared to weather this tough environment and better prepared to take advantage of the upturn than their competitors. Best regards, Jeff
By the way, hope you don't mind but I did check out your profile. Is that a real Cobra you're with in that picture? Anybody crazy enough to do that shouldn't mind a little AMAT volatility.

BK,

Re Increased market share: I heard "maintained or increased market share". Certainly, one of the highlights of the call.

Re "Where'd the cash come from?" I believe 8% net on almost $900M revenue generates a big chunk of loose change.

Thanks for the notes, they made listening much easier.

Ian
