Agriculture business must be awfully efficient, able to absorb all these problems without any apparent shortage. Fisheries in Canada's east coast is almost entirely wiped out - the greatest fishery in the world, and now severe problems on the west coast with certain species.

At the same time one reads of all the farm acreages lost and going fallow. We are indeed living in a blessed land/time. Hopefully this fortunate situation continues. Meanwhile, they are building ever bigger supermarkets everywhere, and stocking them up to the ceilings. Is this a dream?

What inflation ?
We all have to remember the markets trade off the government reports.
If the government was to use the basics we all use you can bet the numbers would be much higher. The U.S. inflation numbers should be the last in the World to rise due to the strong dollar. Watch the Canadian numbers in the months ahead as the currency devaluation under way should start to show up shortly.
