You ask too much. But.....

To take a long view.

Old tech is personal computer related. It is not dead but it is slowing. Hardware anyway, mostly.

Software continues in many cases to have hyper growth and may well continue to do so. Sorta like comparing the sellers of TV's to the media companies.

Software I like: Msft, Psft, Itwo, Neta, Ctxs, Hboc.

There are two main areas of hyper growth new tech, besides software for old tech. Internet and other communications. The software/media side of Internet/Intranet is overdiscovered at the moment, in my opinion. The hardware side is under discovered.

Csco, Tlabs, Wcom, Lor, Gstrf, Ala, Wcii.

Data and telecom will merge. Telecom service providers that get it will get it big.

Good luck.

Doug.

Jason,

Based on your age and actions to date, you don't need advice from any of us old folks. I only wish I had learned my lessons as well as you have at age 25.

My only suggestion is maybe consider a leg of your core holdings in the financial area. Travelers, soon to be CitiGroup , with its banking, insurance and brokerage arms, should be a leader for years to come.

Keep doin what you are doin.
