Dog - are you there?
I value your opinion and I thought I would get your comments on 4 items:

1) Are these guys going to come home to CPQ or did they lock the door behind them when they left?:
techweb.com

2) Do you think this Alpha guy will have any impact:
techweb.com

3) I like the new CPQ ad program but are their any plans to counter the Apple $100,000,000 ad machine?

4) I went into a office supply store and noticed that CPQ is putting a internet key on keyboards that launches the web and goes to AltaVista. Good move. Now what are we going to do with AltaVista? It seems like the same tired old AltaVista we have always known. Is there any plan to do something big? Why not make a Amazon/Yhoo/LCOS combination store that works in multiple languages. In other words, leverage our language translator to become a portal that offers what all the others offer but also with a translation of foreign sites.

One last thing on the suggestions for AltaVista.

I was just on Yhoo talking to people and realized what a great thing it would be to have a chat thread that translated languages immediately.

At AltaVista you could talk to Russians, Japanese, - even French (on a good day) in their own language. Could be a great thing.
