Rs<I predict that at least 3 million new shares will go into float; enough to drive down the price to bellow 100.>
How in the hell can anyone make a prediction in this frenzy?
Just before I bought Gcty yesterday I asked God what he/she thought about my plan. This is the answer I got. " Don't ask me! Ask Morgan Stanely".

During September and October, I predict that at least 3 million new shares will go into float; enough to drive down the price to bellow 100.

Rob, I agree.

I am in the middle of reading "Bilow"'s post regarding to the "short interests effect" to the actual float... a brand new piece of information!!

My hypothesis:

1. Original Float of approx 10 million shares; mostly owned by the insitutions.
2. The majority of the 10 million shares have been loaned out as short sales...
3. The "so called controllers" are the major purchasers of those short shares when Amzn was trading around $40.
4. Therefore, currently, there are about 18 million long shares(holders as well as sellers) and 7 plus million short shares in the circulations!!

Problems/dangers for shorts - there is only 10 millions actual shares, but 18 millions were sold!

Problems/dangers for Longs - There are soooo many more sellers!!

The above is interesting...May be we can all start to talk about it for it's short & long term effect.
