Just a thought--might CSCO adapt the third party service model, where an army of consultants and engineers NOT on Cisco's payroll are trained and supported? Kinda like the Novell, MSFT, SAP models...One problem with a big in-house service organization, it reduces the corporate margins and creates a big, hard to turn ship.
