This information is useless in determining first and second level telecom companies. If you can't substantiate your continual bashing of WCOM simply shut up and take it elsewhere. You are really boring me with your drivel!

AT&T Sales/ Net/ Growth Rate

94: $75b $4.7b 10%
95: $79b $.14b
96: $52b $5.9b
97: $51b $4.6b

FON

94: $12.6b $.89b 13%
95: $12.7b $.96b
96: $14b $1.2b
97: $14.8b $.95b

MCIC

94: $13.3b $.8b 11%
95: $15.2b $.55b
96: $18.5b $1.2b
97: $19.6b $2b

WCOM

94: $2.2b $-.12b 30%+
95: $3.6b $.27b
96: $4.5b $-2.2b
97: $7.4b $.38b

We all know why the net has fluctuated so much - the acquisitions our man Ebbers has made. In the time that WCOM has nearly quadrupled revenue, T has managed to chop 33% off of theirs. First-tier indeed.

PT: Do you think they're lying about revenue? Growth?

The price to sales ratio is high because people are anticipating rocketing sales. If you don't want to pay for growth, buy a utility company - that will have a nice low beta for you too.

If price/sales is the best you can come up with, go bother another thread.
