<<TCI is another NCR.>>

T has been a laggard in the recent past but don't be too quick to condemn the TCI purchase by T. Cable is capable of providing bandwidth at 30mbps(good for video, large amounts of data). T has the means to upgrade the TCI network. Cable hook ups pass by 90% of US homes. TCI is the largest cable company. If Armstrong and Co. play this one correctly, it will enable T to have large bandwidth capability and local access on their own lines.

Anyone know if the transmission speed of cable out does that of fiber?
