Nancy, I think he as well as many well intentioned "christians" are doing good things and helping many people along the way. He certainly demonstrates a good "christian" example to follow. That is a difficult problem when considering what is coming on us now with the new world order. When people like him say they are christians and really act like christians, are they? You see, Jimmy Carter has been and is probably still a member of the council on foreign relations and is for the new world order. He is part of the movement that wants to usher in the "new era" and believes that national boundaries are obsolete. The world is too small to have countries with separate government and interests now, we must unify. But that is the politics of the anti-christ. So how do we think about Jimmy Carter. It's difficult. Unfortunately he is taken in by the new world order. That's the reality. I don't know how far he will go with it, will he become part of the final system by taking the mark of the beast? That's yet to be decided. I can't belittle Jimmy Carter's good deeds but I am reminded of a saying I heard before. "A villain who twirls his mustache is easy to spot, but one who cloaks himself in good deeds is not". I have met many "new age" people who were full of compassion and really had hearts of gold. What about them? They are just good people (by our standards) but deceived and lost. It's a shame too because they would make wonderful additions to Jesus's kingdom. Many of these mediums who tell the future call themselves christians. That does not mean they know Jesus and are saved. But Jimmy Carter confessed that Jesus was his Lord. That is puzzling because I know what he has been involved in. The wheat and tares grow together and they will be separated at the harvest, that's all I know for certain. cya, Bob
